Where do you start when you decide to make that first step in asking for help or support?  One of the most important decisions you can make is deciding who to work with.  I work from a strength-based and trauma-informed perspective.  I want to help you realize how resilient you are and all of the parts that make you who you are.  Learning to be honest with yourself is the first step. From there, we can develop goals to work on and agree how to get there.

I have a very diverse background.  I have spent the last 4 years working with military, active duty and veterans in research and treatment facilities, as well as adolescents and adults in private practice.  I also have experience working with addiction.  My passion is helping survivors deal with depression, anxiety, shame, grief and or guilt.

I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Intern, under supervision. I also have 14 years of school counseling experience with children ages 4-18 years. I understand it is difficult to be a child, teen and young adult experiencing trauma, divorce, depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, or just trying to figure out your identity. As a counselor it’s important to get the professional help you need during traumatic life events, life stressors, or even self-acceptance. We will work together to find solutions, develop realistic goals, and work through the underlying issues through therapy.
