I have experience in group, individual, family, and couples counseling. We will work together to create a new positive lifestyle and explore many different creative therapy techniques using books, art, exercise, music, writing, poetry, role-play, and talk. I am flexible with your schedule and offer late evening, and weekend appointments. I also offer online therapy if coming into the office isn’t an option for you.

I am knowledgeable and have a passion for working with pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults. I have over 8 years of experience and training working in the school setting with children as a Certified School Counselor and Special Education Teacher. I have been successful in helping pre-teens/teenagers and their families navigate the challenges of adolescence. My training encompasses working with children with ADD/ADHD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Working towards wellness, I strive to join clients in identifying goals and developing an action plan that supports growth towards a positive sense of well-being.I earned a Master’s degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio and have been licensed as a professional counselor since 2003.
I typically utilize an integrative approach drawing upon cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, reality, and client-centered approaches to best serve each client’s individual needs.
