My goal as your counselor will be to help you understand yourself holistically. Mind, body, and soul. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, drug and alcohol use, gender identity, career and transition confusion, relationship/friendship problems, behavioral problems, chronic pain and illness, suicidal ideations, and much more. I have experience in group, individual, family, and couples counseling. I practice Postmodern Holistic Therapy, which encompasses focus on all factors of an individual’s life, and Emotional Transformation Therapy.
We will work together to find meaning in your beliefs and thoughts about yourself, and current situations. This will be accomplished using CBT, ETT, art, music, books, and other creative techniques. ETT is a form of therapy that helps individuals change their thoughts, and ideas which helps change their emotions.

I have over 8 years of experience and training working in the school setting with children as a Certified School Counselor and Special Education Teacher. I have been successful in helping pre-teens/teenagers and their families navigate the challenges of adolescence.

I specialize in the mental health care of adults, adolescents and their families. My experience includes working with anxiety, relationship problems, depression as well as working with those families that are going through difficult periods, such as the loss of a love one, trauma, divorce and separation. Additionally, I work with individuals struggling with self-image, self-harm and dealing with life changes.
I specialize using proven methods based on theoretical practices which includes REBT- Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy and Brief Solution Focus Therapy. In treatment we will focus on the here and now, and we will dispute irrational beliefs.

As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to provide clients a caring environment of safety, support, and growth. I specialize in counseling approaches for children, adolescents, and families. Working towards wellness, I strive to join clients in identifying goals and developing an action plan that supports growth towards a positive sense of well-being.
I earned a master’s degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio and have been licensed as a professional counselor since 2003. I typically utilize an integrative approach drawing upon cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, reality, and client-centered approaches to best serve each client’s individual needs.

Seth Sampson LPC, NCC
My goal as a licensed professional counselor is to assist clients in fostering positive, sustainable self-growth within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I strive to work collaboratively with clients to establish achievable goals, while providing support in understanding the thoughts and behaviors that may be contributing to the issues they are experiencing in life. I have over 15 years of experience in education working as a teacher, special education case manager, and certified school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at San Antonio and have experience in counseling adolescents, couples, families, and small groups. I use an integrative approach to therapy that draws upon cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, relational-cultural, and client-centered approaches.

I am an LPC-Intern and my objective as your counselor is to join alongside you, and create a safe therapeutic environment that will allow you to explore the areas in your life where you would like to see a change. I have worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, drug and alcohol use,depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, anger management, suicidal thoughts and a variety of other problems. As well as experience working with children ages 5 and up using child-centered play therapy techniques.
Everyone is unique and I believe that there is no “one size fits all” modality of treatment. Using a client-centered approach, I work on developing an authentic and trusting relationship and draw from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy as well as focusing on mindfulness and other creative techniques.

I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Intern, under supervision. I also have 14 years of school counseling experience with children ages 4-18 years. I understand it is difficult to be a child, teen and young adult experiencing trauma, divorce, depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, or just trying to figure out your identity. As a counselor it’s important to get the professional help you need during traumatic life events, life stressors, or even self-acceptance. We will work together to find solutions, develop realistic goals, and work through the underlying issues through therapy.

I know with all the twists and turns of life it’s hard to understand what’s going on but as your Licensed Professional Counselor Intern my goal is to walk with you in your journey to self awareness. I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, PTSD symptoms, behavioral issues, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and much more. I have experience in group, individual, and couples counseling. My modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy both of which address a wide range of issues.
As your counselor we will work together in exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Each of which will be accomplished using CBT, PET, art, music, and a range of great techniques.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, rational-emotive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Everybody is different and I work on developing and fitting the needs for each client as they come. Additionally, I utilize goal setting to address the client’s concerns.
